Why am I seeing people able to update their Apple TV 3rd Generation? Mine now has the Apple TV+ but no other video applications such as SBS on demand or Disney plus etc

Amazon Prime Video was the last addition with software version 7.2.2 (December 2017), and that was an extraordinary exception. Other content provider changes are not expected.
