iPad 4th gen won't turn on.

I have an iPad 4th gen. Whenever, I try turning it on, it shows me battery low icon. I also tried connecting it to iTunes, but it still gets stuck. i tried charging it. It boots up and displays "CONNECT TO iTUNES SCREEN"and when i try to remove it to plug it in to my PC it turns off. It also does not respond if it isn't connected to charger. It has never been Jailbroken. Please tell me what i can do.....

A 2012 iPad 4th generation is a nearly 8-year old device, now.

It is possible the internal, rechargeable, Lithium-ion battery inside of this iPad is failing or has failed.

It is not worth it to have the battery replaced at this time in 2020.

All 8, 9 and 10-year old IOS devices will be soon fully and completely obsolete by the end of 2020.

Here's why.
