Roaming data

i have phone 11 dual sim. i have a Home sim which is E sim & have another Physical Sim which is in International roaming with data turned off.

However for some applications like, Microsoft teams , when the app is in use , it is taking data from International roaming SIM even though the data is turned off for that line.

i am getting huge amount of Bills due to this. in fear of this , i am turning off the Line completely. this is defeating the whole purpose of Dual sim.
