Important: Once uninstalled, be sure you restart the Mac.

Three Thoughts. Perform in the oder provided:

A. Install then Uninstall Malwarebytes:

On your Mac, Refresh Finder:

1. Go To: Apple Menu
2. Select: Force Quit
3. Select: Finder
4. Click: Relaunch
5. Click: Relaunch
6. See if it is no longer there.

If that does Not Work...

B. Reinstall then Uninstall Malwarebytes for Mac:

Downloads:

1. Restart: Mac
2. Install: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac
3. Restart: Mac
4. Uninstall: Malwarebytes Uninstaller
5. Restart: Mac

If none of the above work, then...

C. Boot into Safe Mode.

In Safe Made, items run by default, and Login Items do not run. So, the uninstaller should work fine.

1. Shut Down: the Mac
2. Boot Into: Safe Mode (Hold Down: shift key upon boot)
3. Run: the Uninstaller
4. Boot: in normal mode
