Cannot Update Apple iWork Applications.

Ok. I am getting a message from my Apple store that I have to update my Keynote, Pages and numbers applications. When I click on "Update" I get the Change from "Update" notice to the square block. AND NOTHING Happens. None of my updates from the apple store will operate.

Mac OS is 10.15.5 on Both my MacBook Pro and my iMac Retina.

Need help.

App store says updates available but Pages, Numbers, Keynote updates won't download The app store usually only gives notice about compatible updates, and my Mac is on Mojave and already has versions 8.2 of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. I click update all, get the little spinning circles, and then....nothing, back to 'update' being offered but not actually updating. So.....what might be blocking downloads when I click 'update all' for these apps to update? I am signed into my AppleID account; my internet connection supported download of microsoft updates earlier today no problem, and Speakeasy shows a little better than average download speed (14 Mbps).

I ended up having to delete the apps & then download them again.
