I have had to restart my phone because it says “No SIM card installed”

For over a month now, I have had to restart my phone almost 10 times daily because it says “No SIM card installed” and it shuts my data off. Why is this happening?

Reseat the SIM card.

If it still happens, get a new SIM card from your carrier.

If it continues after that, contact Apple support
