Stock Apple weather app won’t rotate after iOS 13.4 update

The weather app that comes standard with the iPhone no longer rotates into landscape mode after the iOS 13.4 update. I have an iPhone 11 64GB Product Red model. It worked perfectly in landscape mode with iOS 13.3.

I also just purchased an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB sealed in the box last week from an officially authorized premium Apple reseller and it was running iOS 13.3. It also allowed the stock weather app to rotate into landscape mode.

The iPhone 7 Plus 128GB model also only displays the stock weather app in portrait mode after updating from iOS 13.3 to 13.5.1.

Portrait orientation lock is off on both phones.

I can only speculate that this is not a bug but perhaps the developers want it this way.

No big deal but I really enjoyed seeing it in landscape mode. I hope they will reconsider bringing back the ability to rotate the weather app that comes with the iPhone.
