Apple Music & Alexa

I've had my Apple music account connected to my amazon Alexa for quite a while now. I've been listening to music and playlists on my Alexa without any difficulties.

However, recently I changed my password, because I forgot it, so I could sign in on a new device. On the same day of the password change my apple music would no longer play on my echo dot. Another member of my household also has apple music and Alexa will play music from their account. Every time I try to play music from any echo dot in my house it says, In order to listen to (my name)'s apple music, go to the alexa app and link your account. I went to my alexa app and un-linked and re-linked my apple music account/ID. After doing this I tried to play music from my apple music account and she repeated the same message.

I called Amazon Alexa's support and they told me to un-link and re-link my account, I did so with the same results. Then, they told me to reboot my Alexa, I did so with the same results. Finally, they told, me to contact Apple and that they would call me back in about 20 minutes to see if the problem was resolved. (Something they never did but they had high call volume that day so I'm sure they were busy) So I called Apple Support and was on hold for 3 hours before someone picked up, they were very cordial and helpful and I explained my problem. Of course I was told again to re-link and un-link my account and reboot my device. Since I had been on hold for so long I told them I had to go and they emailed me my case number so I wouldn't have to explain my situation again.

I waited a couple of weeks to see if the problem resolved but it didn't so I contact apple support again today by means of chat, I gave them my case number but again they told me to re-link and un-link my apple account afterward they told me to call apple support. I also texted the apple support but they also told me to call apple support. So I scheduled a call and they called me but I guess the person couldn't hear so they hung up. I didn't call back because I would've had to be on hold and I have other things planned for the day so I decieded to post my problem on here and see if anyone could help.
