my ipad 2 randomly reseted when i was charging i was charging and when i turned on my ipad 2 it reseted to the hello slide to continue screen but i had forgotten the apple id so i tried connecting it to itunes with my old computer but it had an error it also happened again on my other ipad 2 anyone know how to fix this 😢

An unknown error occurred My iPad was switched off for few months and I turned it on few weeks ago. It showed that it need an update so I tried to do that but in the middle of it I got an information that an unknown error occurred and that I need to log in to apple I'd, when I logged in it says that I have a wrong password (it was a good password), I reset my apple id password on my laptop and waited 2 weeks for my account reset. I changed a password, login on computer as usual and when I try to log in on my iPad I got a message 'an unknown error occurred', so I tried to reset the whole iPad but I can't because i need to log in to apple Id first and ipad would not let me do it. What can i do?

I cannot get my new ipad to accept my Apple Id & password my new ipad is giving an error that my apple Id isn't correct, I have tried everything, it is brand new and it asking for the old sign on info and I no longer have it, it was damaged and sent back. How can I wipe the memory clean and start over?
