Is a Messages widget gone in Mojave's Notifications Center?

Hi,

All of a sudden, I discovered there's no more Messages widget in Mojave. It used to be since Mavericks up to High Sierra but now I even can't add it from the widget settings sliding semi-transparent drawer. Is it gone?

Hi scrutinizer82!

It sounds like you’d like to see Messages in the Notification Center on your Mac, and we're happy to help. This feature is not available, but you can let Apple know that you'd like this feature to be available in the future:

Sure. Thank you for your input. I'll definitely consider doing that. In fact, I'm doing that right now: I'm throwing my old MBP with Catalina as the last supported macOS out and heading for the nearest Apple Retail shop to buy a new shiny MBP for the other whopping 8 years of new and exciting macOS releases to come so that I could have an opportunity to ask for new and missing or previously had but once lost features. Thank you!
