IPad Pro Case Not Working

I have an IPad Pro and the magic keyboard case for it. My case still fits on the ipad and is fine, but for some reason my ipad says that 'this accessory is not supported by this device' and when i type on the keys it wont register on my ipad (as if the case were not attached at all). I have never dropped, broken, or spilt anything on the case.. it just suddenly stopped working and i am NOT happy. Any suggestions?

Which iPad Pro do you have? Size and generation.

I would recommend, resetting the iPad, making sure your running the latest iOS 13.

Clean both the smart connectors on both the iPad and magic keyboard case.

If you plug a charger into the magic keyboard does it charge the iPad? That is one way of checking the iPad is connected via the Smart Keyboard
