Simple things you can no longer do in Apple Photos

Unfortunately I have a lot of older photos in Apple photos, once called iPhoto. Today I went to clean them up and an hour later I finally finished. WHY can you not sort your main photos album by date? who wants to see their oldest photos first? WHY can you not delete photos from the library from an album. WHY doesn't apple have its own duplicate photos function? The code is there, if finds peoples faces? So glad I get to jump back into Lightroom now.

There are some views that have set sorts in Photos. Other views you can do it yourself.

If you want to simulate the Photos view but be able to sort it how you'd like create a smart album with this criteria:

Then you can sort as desired.
