how do i retrieve permanently deleted emails from my gmail, today i inadvertently deleted some important emails

from your backup? Or possibly icloud if you synced everything or sign into your gmail online to see if any are still there. Other than that, if it has been deleted and the trash emptied, only a file recovery company may be able to help.
