Problem Validating Podcast: Artwork Size

Hi. I’m trying unsuccessfully to validate my Podcast on iTunes Connect. Each time, I get the same error message: “Podcast artwork must be between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 pixels, JPG, PNG etc” After more than a dozen tries, changing sizes, switching from JPEG to PNG, I don’t know what else to do.

My current image is 2051x1920, RGB and a PNG file. My RSS Feed is: https://www.alexskolnick.net/podcast?format=rss

Any help is great appreciated.

Sorry, that's a mistype on my part: the maximum size is 3000 x 3000 px and this size is advised if you ever want to be 'featured'. But you are correct that they don't specify a maximum file size, they just reject anything over 500kB, and I wish they would sort this out - it causes a lot of problems.

In fact it is 1504 x 1404 px: it must be square, minimum 1400 x 1400, maximum 1500 x 1500. Also your file size is 2.5MB: it must be less than 500kB.

Thank you SO much. The specifications listed on some help pages seem off, with the file size requirement often not listed. Even the error message says 3000 maximum not 1500 (perhaps things have changed). Regardless, problem solved, at last. Thanks again.
