can't enter to my apple ID

I can't check my apple ID after I received a message from the system that someone used my apple ID,so

I changed my password and logout all my devices.

Now the system ask me to enter the new password, when i enter the new password, these messages are shown to me (there was a problem connecting to the server) & ( an unknown error occurred).

Yes. This is concerning, being that you Apple ID is known.


So Notes and What to Perform:


I. Unexpected Messages:

Apple would not send you a message about calling someone to access your Apple Mac.  This Someone you speak of is seeking your credentials.  So, having interacted with with on it, most certainly consider modifying your credentials, Immediately.


II. Performing the following is best at this point.

III. Create a New User on your Mac:

If someone can get into your Mac, through this user, then create a new administrator. Once created, transfer everything over to this new user from your current user. Then, erase that user.


A. Time Machine Backup:

Important: Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the user creation.


B. To Create a New User:

  1. Go to: System Preferences
  2. Click: Users & Groups
  3. Unlock: the Lock
  4. Click: "+" button
  5. Select: "Administrator" for the type of user
  6. Proceed form there as necessary


C. To Delete the Current User:

  1. Go to: System Preferences
  2. Click: Users & Groups
  3. Unlock: the Lock
  4. Click: "-" button
  5. proceed from there as necessary


D. Time Machine Backup:

Important: Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong after the new user creation.
