When scrolling, my mouse moves but the page does not scroll up or down. Ideas?

This is a new MacBook Air. On some pages, intermittently, the page will freeze when trying to scroll up or down.

Scrollbars going crazy and mouse freezing macOS Monterey. Every few minutes the scrollbars on any application will blink in and out and my Bluetooth mouse will freeze for about 3 seconds. But the trackpad still works. I can use the trackpad to move the mouse while the Bluetooth mouse is frozen. And other Bluetooth devices still work uninterrupted, ex: headphones. I have tried everything to fix this. Reset NVRAM and SMC. Reinstalled macOS. Reset Bluetooth module. Removed and readded mouse. I haves tried 3 different Bluetooth mice and I am still having this issue. please help

Mouse hangs/freezes for a couple of milliseconds Hello, A few weeks ago i have upgraded from a late 2017 macbook pro touchbar to latest 16" model and from time to time, my mouse hangs/freezes for a very short time. I don't see any particular pattern, just that from time to time the mouse arrow doesn't follow the trackpad action, so you'd start the action on the trackpad, then for a few ms the mouse arrow doesn't move, then it jumps right where it should be. Any idea what could cause this, where should i start look at? Best.

Misbehaving spacebar When I press the spacebar on my Mac Book Pro, the cursor does not move, and sometimes creates a yellow box around the page in the Pages app. It freezes across other apps too. Occasionally it jumps to some other place in the app. Sometimes the screen changes by itself every ten minutes even though I do not swipe the pad. Please help.

I am inclined to suggest that you are not performing the two-finger scrolling gesture correctly, since the cursor is moving when you're expecting the page to scroll. It seems the Mac's trackpad is only detecting one finger instead of the two required for scrolling: Use Multi-Touch gestures on your Mac - Apple Support

If you have reason to believe your brand new Mac is not working properly though, contact Apple and have them either fix it or replace it: Contact Support
