Sync Notes between iPhone and Apple Watch

Hi all,

It's 2020 and we're supposed to have flying cars and ray guns by now but we don't have those things nor can you look at the Notes on your iPhone from your Apple Watch.

The whole of Google had two results (well, more than that but the answers were identical) and here they are:

1) "You can't do that." (sync Notes)

2) "Use a 3rd party app to do it."

One fellow even threw the developers a bone and said "Look, it's not that simple to develop a watch app to view Notes. In fact, it probably can't be done, so give the developers a break." And he was serious, not being sarcastic.

However difficult a problem viewing Notes on your Apple Watch may be, I bet it's not as complex as viewing and sending Messages or viewing Photos or looking at your position in the world as a moving blue dot on a satellite view of the Earth.

There's the problem, can't view, add or edit Notes on Apple Watch. Even viewing Notes that were originally made on the phone would be halfway there (Literally)

The problem with 3rd party apps is, I don't want my Notes, some of which are moderately confidential, to be sent and stored on just any old server some place on the planet where just any old body can read through your Notes as they please. Plus, if you do that (use a 3rd party app) it's not even Notes anymore. The one's I'm aware of that DO indeed let you sync notes (not Notes) back and forth is:

1) Evernote (free version is limited to 2 devices. 3 or more, such as you having the gall to want to sync your notes between your iPhone, Apple Watch AND Mac or iPad, is Evernote Plus or Premium (which are not free) I use Evernote on my PC and it seems quite a bit too complex for iOS and WatchOS use. But that's just me.

[Sorry, I clicked "Post" too soon and now I don't see an "Edit" button.]

2) Purple Notes - Don't know how well it works since I didn't try it but it has a low rating and a lot of bad reviews on the App Store. (2.5 stars out of 5, to be exact) Just stating facts. I'm not knocking it since I haven't tried it. It may be wonderful.

3) Drafts 5 - (just named "Drafts" in the App Store, by Agile Tortoise) I use this currently and really have nothing bad to say about it. It works. Write a note anywhere in Drafts, on your Watch, iPhone, Mac, or iPad and it shows up in Drafts on all your devices. There is a free version and 2 paid versions. The paid ones (Plus and Premium) offer extras like Workspaces (saved searches. Called "collections" in some other apps such as Scrivener), changing themes, automating URLs, etc., none of which I use so it's free version for me.

Does anyone have a better solution? One that can keep Notes synced between Apple devices, or better yet create Notes on any device and be viewable across all devices?

Before I get the usual admonitions about "This is a support forum! Developers do not come here!" and "Submit it as a feature request!", I realize the former and have done the latter. More than once.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide.
