Please try the steps in Troubleshooting Wireless mouse and keyboard

If these do not help let us know. There are additional steps that can be done but will require a wired USB mouse & keyboard to complete which you should always have on hand for troubleshooting wireless keyboard and mouse issues.

Also, by chance do you have any third party antivirus, cleaning or any other "maintenance" apps installed?

If you have already tried the steps in the link please do the following which requires a USB keyboard and Mouse:

  • Plug in USB keyboard and mouse
  • System Preferences - Bluetooth
  • select the wireless keyboard and mouse and click the "-" symbol below to remove the devices
  • Turn off Bluetooth
  • Restart computer in Safe Mode per Safe Mode Reset instructions
  • Restart computer normally
  • System Preferences - Bluetooth
  • Turn on Bluetooth
  • Turn on wireless keyboard and mouse and re-pair the devices
  • Test.
