I just got my new MacBook and Google Drive is no longer available for download. It says it’s only available for iPad and iPhone. All of my files are backed up there and I really don’t want to pay for more iCloud storage to switch over. Any suggestions?

Works fine for me on my new MacBook Pro running Catalina macOS 10.15.5.
Specifically, I just download it by clicking the button indicated by the red arrow in the screenshot below from https://www.google.com/drive/download/

Are you able to use an internet browser and log into https://myaccount.google.com/
You may want to also try the google forum to see if someone there has an idea: https://support.google.com/accounts/community?hl=en

Hi, so I was able to download, however I am unable to use the application as it sticks when I am trying to sign in to google. Any ideas?
Thanks. I didn't solve the problem, but know it has something to do with how my wifi is set up. I went by my parents' house and it worked fine there! Thanks again for your great support!
Unfortunately when I tried to download it, it says only available for iPad and iPhone. The links in those support answers all point to the same website to download google drive and I get the same message. Seems to be a new change because it worked fine on my old Macbook.
