HDD can't function normally, I've ald change the format into ExFAT.

This is what happened while i tried to move my footage from mac to external HDD.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Welcome to the Apple Support Community. I do apologize for this negative experience with your Mac. If you are using an external HD or SSD you will need to format it in macOS Extended Journal. If this HD or SSD is being used as a external boot drive, you will need to format it as APFS starting with macOS High Serria.
