Backup

My phone was messed up recently, overnight it was charging and when I woke up it would not charge or turn on. Then my mom shipped my phone to Apple to see if they could fix it but they couldn’t so they sent a replacement. But the last time I backed up my phone was in 2018, and I was wondering if there was any way to recover the photos, or if there’s any way I can recover my old phone or someone can fix it?
