Battery calibration on modern MacBooks

Hi! I recently changed my MBP (late 2017 - non touch bar) battery through Apple Service. Old battery has an estimated 1000 cycle count, yet it's capacity lowered to %50 at 300 cycle. I just want to know that do I have to calibrate my battery periodically and I would like learn your tips for battery health. Thanks!

Battery performance on older MacBook Pro I bought a used MacBook Pro late 2011, that has an incredibly low cycle count on the battery. The device just didn't get used much. It's 15 Inch (not retina). I've added ram and an SSD drive. I've noticed that the battery life drop a percent every 10 minutes or so. I estimate 4-6 hours (max) of life. Is this just how the older models worked efficiency wise? As in, this is probably expected behavior. This is since 12pm today. I've also done all of the normal things a person would do to save efficiencies. This MacBook has been fully reset after the ssd install.

Update to the latest OS (Catalina 10.5.5) which has built-in battery health management:
