Export ALL contacts from iCloud into a single file.

I'm wanting to export all of my contacts from iCloud on the web to clean up duplicates. It's too painful doing them one at a time. I can only find web tips on exporting one into a vCard format. I just want a simple CSV file. Easy to do in Outlook, looking for the same in iCloud.

It is so SLOW-i have searched the internet it is not easy. previous threads are from several years ago. i did not want to get involved with a third party software ( bad reviews). please help thanks.

Is there an automated way to export all my iCloud contacts to a CSV file? It's 2023. My iCloud contacts won't save data randomly. I add a birthday and it doesn't save. I add a number and it doesn't save. So, I'm moving back to Google Contacts where this doesn't happen. I was able a few years ago, easily, to export my google contacts. Why i can't on iCloud??

iCloud: Export Contacts Hello all! I need to export all my iCloud Contacts to a .csv or .vcf file for archival purposes. From the iCloud-Contacts gear button, I am able to Select All. Good so far. When I then select Export to vCard, the default action appears to be to import the selected contacts into my Mac's Contact app. I just want to generate and download flat file, nothing more. What am I missing? TYIA!!

See - Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support.
