Power up iPhone 6 after battery replacement!

Replaced my friend’s iPhone 6 battery plugged it in to charge Apple logo shows up on display and disappears every few seconds! Can someone help please!

Help please Help needed!!! When I go to charge my iphone xr all it does is the apple logo shows up for 5 seconds then the screen turns off and in 5 seconds the apple logo reappears, this repeats.... what do i do??
