Hi roberto721, I understand that you have a MacBook and that you want to have your keyboard strokes make a sound. That can absolutely be done with a physical keyboard like the MacBook. (Please note, however, that once enabled as described below, the sound generated by the keyboard strokes will be that of an old-fashioned typewriter, and not the soft sounds that an iPhone or iPad makes when "keyboard clicks" is enabled.

To enable the typewriter sounds for your MacBook's physical keyboard strokes:

  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Select Sound --> Sound Effects --> and make sure the box next to "play user interface sound effects" is checked (it likely is).
  3. Return to System Preferences.
  4. Select Accessibility and scroll down on the left-hand side to "Keyboard" and select it, and make sure "Hardware" is highlighted at top, not Accessibility Keyboard;
  5. Then check the box in the middle of the page for "Enable slow keys" and select the "options" button to the right of it.
  6. When the "options" pane opens, make sure the box next to "Use click key sounds" is checked.
  7. Make sure the slider for "Acceptance Delay" is all the way to the left ("short"). (This step is a personal preference; it does not impact the sound.)

(One more note: the foregoing assumes you are running Mac OS Catalina. I do not know whether the above works in other operating systems.)

Good luck!
