iPad Pro Magic Keyboard Case Sticky Sound

I bought an 11 inch iPad Pro and its respective Magic Keyboard. It’s been awesome for a couple of days, however, it’s making an odd sound. As soon as I begin opening the case, it makes a slightly sticky sound, kind of like a cross between a sticky note and a spilled soda when it dries. It’s before you would bend the iPad and almost as soon as you begin lifting the lid. I’m extremely clean with my tech, so there’s not really a chance of food getting in it or anything like that. Any tips?
