I don't have enough storage after I upgraded my plan to 50GB.

When I get on the photos app, it says that I don't have enough storage after I just upgraded my plan to the 50GB. It’s also affecting my Snapchat. I can’t save snaps to my memories, open snapchats, or see my old memories either due to the storage. I’ve already cleared out all the cache. Does anyone know what I should do? The photo attached is from Snapchat.

Upgrading your plan gives you 50 gig of online storage, it doesn't increase storage space on your phone. You will need to delete items off of your phone such as programs, photos, videos, etc.

I want you to realize and know one important thing and that is that there is NOTHING that you can do to increase the physical storage capacity of your iPhone. Your iPhone's storage capacity will forever remain the same as the day you bought it.

You have purchased iCloud space where you can create and save your iPhone backups and synch (Not Store) your Messages, Photos, Contacts, Calendars, Notes and Reminders. Note that iCloud Storage is NOT an extension of storage capacity of your iPhone. Just wanted you to know some facts. Thanks.

I do not use Snapchat and therefore have no experience with it. This could be a Snapchat related issue. Double check the settings in Snapchat if you have not already and ensue that everything looks OK there.

In addition to the above, on your iPhone, open Settings ➔ Privacy ➔ Photos ➔ Here ensure that SnapChat has ALL PHOTOS selected.

If none of the above works then try posing this issue on Snapchat's support forum.

Ok. I checked all of that stuff and there’s nothing wrong with it. And the notification that pops up says there’s not enough storage on the device, not the Snapchat app so that’s what I’m so confused about. I deleted a bunch of my apps, photos, and videos yesterday to free up space, but I feel like it was for nothing because it didn’t solve the problem. I still have plenty of storage left so none of this makes sense to me.
