Why my Contacts app crashing?

Okay, the title says it, but you need more info. Before it crashed, I was making a simple contact: Memoji and Name. Nothing else. But as soon I pressed finish, it crashed. And i cannot open the application. Can anybody help?

Contacts app ios 15.5 blank screen I just wanted to chime in and state that I have had the blank screen contacts app issue for some time now. I find that if I go through my open apps and close any instances of the contacts app that all works just fine. Seems like a bug but nothing I can't live with.
