My friend is having a problem recently on Netflix. Suddenly cannot open the Netflix on apple tv. We tried to reset, update, sign out, mostly everything but still cannot fix the problem. If she is using mobile phone she can what netflix on her account, using another apple tv in the living room can also work. But the box inside her bedroom is not letting her download the netflix app again....please help

The mentioned “upload” is very strange, as there is nothing to upload under any circumstance.
If an app is misbehaving on an Apple TV (4th generation or later), then force-quit the app and then relaunch. If the issue persists after that, the delete the app and download a new copy from the on-device App Store.

So the icon is missing from the Home Screen then? Could it be that it is accidentally set to ‘Hidden’? On Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), you can unhide apps from Settings > Main Menu.
The netflix icon is there, but everytime you click the icon is like “downloading” after a few seconds will show “unable to upload”
