Netflix app

I’ve installed netflix on the appletv but everytime I click it it doesnt open up so I can sign in.

It seems the latest update of the Netflix app requires that the Apple TV is updated to the latest version tvOS. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Got a new Apple TV HD and can’t get Netflix app to open I just got a new Apple TV HD device and I downloaded the Netflix app to it. But I selected to open it and it doesn’t open. I have other apps that I downloaded that open just fine. Does anyone know if this is an Apple problem? I’ve been on a chat with the Netflix support and they think it’s not a Netflix problem.

netflix has told me to contact apple as i cannot get my netflix app to open on my tv and i use an apple box netflix has asked me to contact apple , as i cannot open netflix on my tv but i can open other apps , just not netflix
