Payment Update for Apple ID

I am trying to update my payment method but when I get to that screen the "edit" function is grayed out and I can't change the credit card info

Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?

Try a restart.

Try a forced restart.

Thanks. As it turns out it was connected to our family organizer, so I was not authorized to change the number.
