Unfortunately, yes. Zoom seems to be a resource hog. I can go for about 3 hours on my 2017 15" MBP in continuous Zoom meetings (I have a 16" MBP as well, but that's my personal machine so I don't have many Zoom meetings on it).

I've learned to have a power adapter handy!
