Underlining Text field in Xcode 12/Swift 5 Widget isn't working correctly

I have some text in my widget that I would like to underline. I've attached two pictures; one with the .underline() applied and one without. As you can see, the .underline only seems to underline sporadic parts of the word instead of the whole thing. I would like to underline the whole word.

P.S. .underline() works fine in the app itself, it only doesn't work in the widget.
