Malfunctioning screen on iPad 6 gen 128gb

Hope you can help - our warranty expires tomorrow(17.07.20) and we are unable to obtain an appointment for repair until Tuesday 21.07.20. Will we need to pay for repairs to the screen? There’s a pixel malfunctioning on the screen. Thanks in advance.
