About the "Show in iTunes store" link

Following the "Show in iTunes store" link, the page that will load in the iTunes Store is often a matter of surprise - sometimes the correct album page loads, sometimes a different album by the artist loads, sometimes a completely unrelated page loads, ...

I would like to know which tag in the music file is used to create the link. Does anyone know? Or maybe you have discovered a pattern?

This question is obviously not easy to answer, unless you spent time testing the link on various tracks while at the same time looking at the metadata in another audio tagger app, like Kid3.

My guess is that one of these tags is used, if they are stored in the file: Album ID, ISRC, Barcode.

(product identifiers)

(I am still using iTunes on macOS Mojave.)
