External microphone

1.) is there ANY way of connecting an external microphone to iPhone 7 and use it with the in-built camera for video recording?

2.) is the recognition of an external microphone on iPhone 7 automatic and/or can it be done manually from a list for example?

The mic would be a blue yeti x
