Does anyone recommend a document camera for the mac book pro? For distance learning? It is hard to find one that is compatible for IOS.

Macs do not run iOS. You need one that is compatible with your Mac. I have used several cameras and projectors and have yet to find one that is not compatible. What issue are you having other than maybe looking for one that is compatible with iOS rather than one that is compatible with your Mac.
Why don't you ask your School District or other teachers what they recommend/use? Give us an example of what you found that does not work. There are hundreds of "document" cameras. It would be of no value to list them all here. A Google search for MacBook Pro compatible document camera will yield results.
Oh, okay. I do not have a Mac yet. I want to get the MacBook Pro and I know nothing about technology, so I assumed it was IOS 😬. Thank u for the clarification. So I am looking at some document cameras and the ones that had good reviews stated that they were only compatible with windows. Some say not compatible with Mac or chrome book.
Thank u, yes already asked around, we are pretty new to this distance learning stuff. And yes, there are hundreds of document cameras. However, I don’t have the luxury of picking from the hundreds available due to financial reasons. Therefore, I was hoping someone that already had one would share some feedback. Sorry I was not much help. I use a digital camera mounted on a tripod, but any camera, even a phone, can do the same thing. Is the issue that you also want some kind of back end document management or other system? I'm sorry I just don't understand the issue. Hopefully someone else will be able to better advise you.
Yes, I want a document camera which allows teachers to scan book pages Or worksheets and display them on the computer to make them interactive. Yes this is definitely a document management system. I really appreciate ur time thank u.
So it sounds like you are really looking for a Smart Board rather than a document camera.
