i forgot my passcode got locked out of my phone did a factory reset to get into my phone and lost all my photos, videos and text messages from jan.12 to current because for some reason they were mot backed up on icloud i want them back who can help

Check Other Storage Methods Used:

If they were not backed up then they are gone. But, check another storage device (i.e. a flash drive, external hard drive, or other computer) or storage location (i.e. cloud storage or an eMail), and see if it resides in there.

If it is not in your backup, and you were not using iCloud Photos it is gone and there is no way to retrieve it.

Yes. A backup would mean copies just sitting around in external drives.

So, take a look cindia289, and see what flash drives you have laying about.

Rather than plugging it into your iPhone, use a computer. It would be a bit more User-Friendly. Plug the drive into a computer, particularly a Mac (or try a PC, if no Mac).

These would have been stored on them. The drive’s icon would popup on the Desktop. Double-Click the icon to see it’s contents. See what opens.

Apparently she didn't know what those are or how to backup to them. Did this backup just magically jump to a flash drive that was laying around. Can you explain how this is done?
