USB-C stops working after updating to macOS 10.15.6
I have a new Mac Air. The USB-C ports were working fine until I updated to macOS 10.15.6. Has anyone else experienced this?

USB has some issues with power that could be affected by the update process.
Check your Energy Saver preferences in Apple menu -> System Preferences.
Make sure that your devices don't have specific drivers or power requirements.
Check that the device in question is connected only after restart and not after closing the lid to the computer. Once you close the lid to your computer, it goes into low power mode that many devices do not support.

Reboot your machine.
Reset the NVRAM and SMC if that doesn't work.
