Suddenly, all my incoming email goes into my archive mailbox instead of my inbox. Why did that happen? And how can I undo it?

Could be that you have a rule set to do this. Check Mail > Preferences > Rules.

If so, remove the rule and check for malware which set up the rule in the first place.
