Purchased music plays on my desktop but not my iPhone 11.

On my iPhone a huge number of the songs I spent purchasing and downloading this afternoon on my desktop will play there but not on my phone. On my phone they are greyed out and I get the error message that "This song is not currently available in your country or region". These two devices are a foot apart... pretty sure I'm in the same region. This makes no sense. How do I fix this?

iPhone 11, iOS 13
