Connecting JBL bluetooth headphones to MacBook Air

My MacBook will not connect to my bluetooth headphones. Any ideas on how to connect, please?

If you're able to pair other Bluetooth devices but not your headphones, reach to the manufacturer of the headphones to confirm compatibility and request assistance there.
