camera not connected
i am using yosemite on my macbook my camera is not working / camera not connected error comes. can any one help also i tried doing sudo \ and all other things but still the same error coming.

Reinstall the macOS:
With the drivers gone missing, reinstall the operating system. Nothing would be lost. It's just that items (i.e. these drivers) that have been moved and deleted, will be relocated and reinstalled, respectively. Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support. Use the Command + R option.
Important: Create a Time Machine Backup, First:
Prior to reinstalling the macOS, Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall.
