I bought a MacBook pro back in 2011 and the hard drive finally dead. Sucky part on my end is that I never created a restore disc or a bootable USB. What other way can I get a bootable USB or disc to reinstall my MacBook pro?

Use another mac that is capable of downloading High Sierra.

Create a bootable USB installer on that mac and then use it to

install High Sierra on the original mac.

Use your Safari browser and click on this link, Firefox will not work.
