Ipad email contacts

I have round grey contact circles like a history of previous email contacts when I use the square box with the up arrow to send to. They are above the favorites on that screen. Want to delete.

Contacts list has seperate lines of emails My contact list is driving me nuts. There are some contacts listed twice, once for phone, one for email. Some of them are not coming up when I use Imessage , but they are listed on my contact list! And I also have some that appear to me coming from social media who I know I never added as contacts. HELP! Iphone 13

Can't delete email address suggestion from recents I want to delete a suggested email address that pops up when I write an email on my iPhone. I know I can delete it with the info icon next to the name, but sometimes there are no info buttons. How can I delete such a contact from recents?

In Contacts > Select your desired contact > Edit > Delete.
