Can't update Apps. Don’t have an iTunes account.

Why, when I go into the App Store to update my apps, does this message continuously pop up? I entered my Apple ID password ,but it wouldn’t take that. I also don’t have an ITunes account either.

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

This may be your problem, an updating Apple ID settings problem. Apple is aware of the problem.

Note that some have solved the problem by signing out of iCloud, restarting their devices, and signing back in

I suggest you use my search link (update apple id settings) in trying to solve your problem. You will see a number of links that are related to it (some deal with iPhone/iPads explicitly, and others are more general). But, note that I have not seen a definitive solution for it.
