How can I add personally owned music files to my iTunes Match account? These music files were created from old LPs and rare, obsolete, or experimental recordings which are not available through mainstream music services.

Such items should be uploaded to your iCloud Music Library unless they are excluded for the reasons set out in Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support, e.g. too large, too long, bitrate too low, etc. In some cases you might be able to make a converted copy of your original that is able to be uploaded.
