I-tunes match vs. Apple Music

I have i-tunes Match and also Apple Music. I downloaded hundreds of my own personal CD’s into iTunes. Do I need both subscriptions or can I access all of my own personal CD music through Apple Music?

iTunes Match I subscribed to iTunes Match for a few years to ensure that I could add music to my iPad and iPhone that I had burned from CDs onto my MacAir. All of that burned content is now on my devices and I no longer use that method to purchase music - I purchase tracks from the iTunes Store. Do I need to continue my iTunes Match subscription? I don’t subscribe to Apple Music.

Apple Music without subscription I’ve imported many of my old CDs on my Mac in the Music app. They all appear in the music library alongside the previous purchases done in itunes. The Music app on my Mac is logged in with my Apple iCloud account. But I can’t see or find the Music app on my ICloud account. And therefore I can’t manage to sync Music on iCloud and to be able to play my music on my phone. My question is: can’t I do that without an Apple Music subscription?

How do I sync purchased music across Apple devices without a subscription? Is there a way to sync my purchased music across all devices without having to pay for music subscription? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You only need Apple Music.

No, you don't need both. If you'll only be accessing the music on the computer you imported the CDs to, and not otherwise accessing the Apple Music catalog, you won't need it either.

I want to access them wherever I go. Basically through my phone ( Apple Music app)
