Problem charging ipod classic with 10w usb adapater.

Does anybody had some issues charging their ipod classic with 10w usb power adapter?

Probably most people. The iPod classic has an overcurrent protection circuit which should kick in with a 10W charger. Use a standard USB port on your computer or an original charger designed for use with the classic.

Thanks for replying. I think charging my ipod classic with this adapter might cause damage inside. I can't hear anything from the audio jack Nor from the 30 pin output. Only if I turn up the volumen to its maximum level I'm able to hear just a little. I left my ipod connected to the adapter almost 1 day eveb when the ipod wasn't indicating a charger connected.

What I found out was the 10w adapter sends 2 voltages inverted. USBDP and USBDN were inverted in comparison with a 5w adapter, other non apple adapaters don't send these voltages.

I saw this in a2dtests ipod diagnostics.
