I have a family sharing plan with Apple. My son purchased Logic Pro under the assumption that we would all be able to use it. I didn't realize when it was purchased that I was supposed to purchase it rather than him in order to share on the family plan or I would have. Is there any way to change the license to me so we could share it?

For anyone else who has this issue, go into the App Store and click on your profile in the bottom left corner. From there you'll see a title listing "Purchased by: (your name). Click your name and switch to the account of the person who bought the app, under their downloaded apps you should find Logic, and be able to download it. Hope this helps!
